The First 5 Sixt Rent A Car Reviews

In late September this year we announced our new partnership with Sixt Rent A Car in Florida, Arizona and Georgia. A month has now passed and over 100 customer have booked Sixt vehicles.

Today I thought it would be a good idea to take a look at the first 5 Sixt Rent A Car reviews that we have received from our customers. As I’ve mentioned in previous posts we send a post rental email to every customer that completes a USA car hire with us. This email asks our customers to rate the supplier based on certain criteria including vehicle provided, pick up service and drop off service to name but a few.

Here are the first 5 Sixt Rent A Car reviews we received

New car, only 8 miles on the clock.Small niggle – steering had a slight tendency to wander, constant adjustments required to drive it in a straight line, but in no way dangerous!

Was pleased with the brand new car and service from Sixt, however I wasn”t aware when I booked (it doesn”t tell you until you”ve paid) that this is an off-site pick up at Orlando airport. You are picked up by a shuttle which takes you to the office a 5 minute drive away. This had it”s bonus though – no queue at the airport desk and cheaper prices, however it was a very hot 15 minute wait outside the airport for the shuttle. (The shuttle driver did give us all a bottle of cold water though, which was a nice touch). Getting the car was smooth, quick and easy. There was an extra $36.99 per week charge for pre-paid tolls (just drive straight through without queuing and having to look for exact small change) – but all rental companies I”ve used charge similar (all per week rather than per use). Handing back was smooth and easy again, with immediate transfer to the airport by shuttle, dropping us off at the door (on site companies involve some walking to the terminal after dropping the car off) If you don”t mind an off-site pick up then Sixt is a great choice

 very easy process, quickly got on the shuttle from the airport, and was in the hire car 5 mins later, full tank of fuel also given and didnt have to replace, will definately use sixt via usrentacar next year when we visit.

 Although our arrival time had been notified in advance, the staffing at Miami International was woefully inadequate to cope with the number of customers arriving. Effectively there was initially only one person “on duty” although there were other members of staff in the back office. Eventually a second person arrived, which helped speed the process. But after a multi sector flight, the last thing I needed was to stand in line for almost 30 minutes!! Returning the vehicle was effortless.

I was a little sceptical when I read that the pick up was off airport, but after speaking to U.S. rentacar they put my mind at ease. Collection process was very smooth and the shuttle journey was on 5 mins. No hard sell just a really good service. Big thumbs up :-)

So a nice positive start for Sixt Rent A Car lets hope this continues in the same vain, I’m sure it will. Sixt have a long history of great customer services and they are very keen to expand further in the U.S.
